About me

Tutoring children is a very fulfilling role, especially when I see my student has grown in confidence and subject knowledge. I love receiving messages from parents when their child has passed an assessment, achieved their pen license, become a student representative, or just simply put their hand up to answer a question for the first time because their confidence has grown, and much more.

I have worked in both primary and secondary schools and supported adults to work in primary schools as well as early years. ​I work tirelessly to stay updated with the latest curriculum changes, attain the best resources to teach, and develop a tailored learning package.

I have students in England, Shanghai, and Beijing. I am hoping to branch out into other countries.

My experience is that online can be just as beneficial as in-person tutoring because the student will develop IT skills and most assessments are sat online. Children also develop research skills and are able to adapt to the workforce in the future with a lot more confidence.

I learned how new information is registered in the hippocampus, and navigated by my pre-frontal cortex (PFC). The PFC is where higher cognitive decisions are made, and this is not fully matured until 20-25 years old, hence why math problem-solving and comprehension questions can be challenging for children.
